Our Story
Guided Heart Cards was inspired by a deeply personal story rooted in love, legacy, and the power of unspoken words.
Our founder, DC Covington, was raised by a father who proudly served over 30 years in the U.S. Navy. A man of few words, shaped by military discipline and a hard upbringing, he wasn’t one to easily express his feelings. Growing up, DC never received a card from him. She’s kept every card anyone has ever given her, but the one she’ll always miss is his.
Later in life, before his passing, DC and her father finally found space to communicate and rebuild their relationship. That experience showed her just how important it is to create those opportunities before it’s too late.
Out of that realization, Guided Heart Cards was born: a brand designed to make heartfelt communication easier for everyone. Through prompted cards and interactive experiences, DC helps others share what’s often left unsaid by creating moments of connection.
Our company’s logo was inspired by a photo of DC and her father, their silhouettes forming the shape of a heart. Like every card, it carries a personal story; a reminder that the most meaningful gifts come from the heart, and that love is meant to be expressed while we have the chance.
